Sweekar is essentially an AI companion housed within a charming, egg-shaped toy, complete with ears and a screen for its 'face'. Just like the classic Tamagotchi, you'll need to nurture it through feeding and play to keep it happy and thriving. Its mood and expressions will reflect your level of care. But here's where it gets exciting: Sweekar remembers your voice and shared activities. As it matures, it becomes more independent, embarking on virtual adventures (similar to the Finch app) and returning with stories of its explorations.
Sweekar will be available in delightful colors like pink, yellow, and blue, with swappable shells and fun outfits for customization – because who doesn't love a little personalization? The pet progresses through four distinct life stages, becoming less dependent on you as it grows.
It begins as a closed egg, incubating for two days, before 'hatching' to reveal its face. You'll then guide it through the baby and teen stages with care and attention. But the best part? Once it reaches adulthood, Sweekar becomes autonomous, meaning no more accidental neglect-related 'deaths'! It's unkillable from Level 51 onwards (though, of course, you'll still need to keep it charged).
The price point is estimated to be between $100 and $150 upon release, with a Kickstarter campaign planned soon.
